Terms of service

A clear contract for using Bellwire.

These terms describe what you can expect from Bellwire and what we ask of everyone who uses it.

Effective July 22, 2026

Agreement

By creating an account or using the Bellwire app, website, or APIs, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Bellwire for an organization, you confirm that you can accept these terms for it.

The service

Bellwire lets you and authorized software Agents connect projects, publish live state, store event history, and deliver notifications to registered devices. Features, limits, and availability may change as the product develops.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping devices, pairing codes, Agent credentials, and ingest tokens secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

  • Provide accurate information when requested.
  • Use each token only for its intended project and scope.
  • Revoke credentials that are no longer needed or may be exposed.

Acceptable use

Do not use Bellwire to break the law, harm others, interfere with the service, evade limits, probe systems without permission, or distribute malware. Do not send passwords, private keys, full payment-card data, protected health data, or other unnecessary sensitive information in events or notifications.

Your content

You keep ownership of data you submit. You give Bellwire permission to process it only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and lawful basis to submit that data.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Bellwire reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and will provide reasonable notice when a material change allows it.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Bellwire or delete your account at any time. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate abuse, or address a serious breach of these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

Bellwire is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. It is a monitoring and notification tool, not a guaranteed emergency, financial, medical, or safety system. To the extent permitted by law, Bellwire is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as Bellwire changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
